too good to be true
We went to the real estate office today to make an offer. It turns out that the lot is where they buried an old school house. I guess it's a fairly common practice to take the refuse from demolitions and constructions and just bury it on the site. What do they care? It's not their land. Needless to say we are not interested in an expensive excavation just so we can START building. I think we'll pass on it. So now we are back to looking again *sigh* I guess it wasn't meant to be.
